ABOUT US:
At Blue Lake Environmental (BLE) we specialize in evaluating the human health risks of environmental pollutants. We consult on a variety of chemicals including volatile organic compounds, heavy metals, PFAS, and fine particulate matter. Our work draws on decades of laboratory research, regulatory engagement, and litigation support.
BLE combines scientific depth and communication clarity. Our team includes an immunotoxicologist with more than 35 years of NIH- and EPA-funded research experience alongside a communication professional with a decade of journalism experience at national outlets. Together, we can take a complex risk assessment and make it understandable to a jury, a city council, or a local community; all without sacrificing accuracy.
BLE operates with the scientific rigor of a large research institution and the responsiveness and personalized service of a small firm. We have contributed to multi-million dollar legal awards on behalf of individuals harmed by industrial toxicant exposure. We have provided expert causation reports in litigation arising from the Camp Lejeune Justice Act and have supported community advocacy efforts related to the proposed development of AI data centers.
